1. PSLV-C10 Launch

Date: January 21, Launch

PSLV-C10 successfully lauches TECSAR satellite under a commercial contract with Antrix Corporation (January 21, 2008).

2. PSLV-C9/CARTOSAT-2A Mission Launch

Date: April 28, 2008

PSLV-C9 successfully lauches CATROSAT-2A, IMS-1 and 8 foreign nano satellites from Sriharikota (April 28, 2008).


3. PSLV-C11/Chandrayaan-1 Launch

Date: October 22, 2008

PSLV-C11 successfully launches CHANDRAYAAN-1 from Sriharikota (October 22, 2008).

4. PSLV-C12/RISAT-2 Launch

Date: April 20, 2009

PSLV-C12 successfully launches RISAT-2 and ANUSAT from Sriharikota.

5. PSLV-C14/OCEANSAT-2 Launch

Date: September 23, 2009

PSLV-C14 successfully launches Seven Satellites - OCEANSAT-2, Four CUBESAT Satellites and Two RUBIN-9 from Sriharikota.

6. GSLV-D3/GSAT-4 Launch

Date: April 15, 2010

GSLV-D3 launched from Sriharikota. GSAT-4 satellite could not be placed in orbit as flight testing of the Indigenous Cryogenic Stage in GSLV-D3 Mission was not successful.

7. PSLV-C15/CARTOSAT-2B Launch

Date: July 12, 2010

PSLV-C15 successfully launches Five Satellites - CARTOSAT-2B, ALSAT-2A, two nanosatellites-NLS-6.1 & 6.2 and a pico-satellite- STUDSAT from Sriharikota (July 12, 2010).

8. HYLAS Launch

Date: November 27, 2010

Successful launch of advanced communication satellite HYLAS (Highly Adaptable Satellite), built by ISRO on a commercial basis in partnership with EADS-Astrium of Europe, by Ariane-5 V198 from Kourou French Guiana.



9. GSLV-F06 / GSAT-5P Launch

Date: December 25, 2010

 GSLV-F06 was launched. GSAT-5P has not been installed in the classroom. GSLV F06 mission failed.

10. PSLV-C16/RESOURCESAT-2 Launch

Date: April 20, 2011

PSLV-C16/RESOURCESAT-2 Launch
PSLV-C16 successfully launches Three Satellites - RESOURCESAT-2, YOUTHSAT, X-SAT from Sriharikota.


11. GSAT-8 Launch

Date: May 21, 2011

Successful launch of GSAT-8 by Ariane-5 VA-202 from Kourou French Guiana, (May 21, 2011).

12. PSLV-C17/GSAT-12 Launch

Date: July 15, 2011

PSLV-C17 successfully launches GSAT-12 from Sriharikota.

13. PSLV-C18/Megha-Tropiques Launch

Date: October 12, 2011

PSLV-C18 successfully launches Megha-Tropiques, Jugnu, SRMSat and VesselSat-1 from Sriharikota.


14. PSLV-C19/RISAT-1 Launch

April 26, 2012

PSLV-C19 successfully launches RISAT-1 from Sriharikota.


15. PSLV-C21/SPOT-6 Launch

Date: September 9, 2012

ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV-C21 successfully launches SPOT 6 and PROITERES from Sriharikota.

16. GSAT-10 Launch

Date: September 29, 2012

Successful launch of GSAT-10 by Ariane-5 VA-209 from Kourou French Guiana.

17. PSLV - C20 / SARAL Launch

Date: February 25, 2013

PSLV - C20 successfully launches SARAL and six commercial payloads from Sriharikota (Feb 25, 2013).

Date: July 1, 2013

21. PSLV - C25 / Mars Orbiter Mission Launch

Date: November 5, 2013

PSLV - C25 successfully launches Mars Orbiter Mission Spacecraft from Sriharikota.

Date: January 5, 2014

26. GSAT-16 Launch

Date: December 7, 2014

GSAT-16 is launched by Ariane-5 VA-221 launch vehicle from Kourou, French Guiana.

27. LVM3-X / CARE Mission

Date: December 18, 2014

Experimental suborbital flight of India's next generation launch vehicle that tested the vehicle for the crucial atmospheric phase of its flight. The payload - CARE Module - reentered the atmosphere and was slowed using parachutes before splashdown in Andaman Sea.

Date: September 28, 2015

PSLV-C30 launched 1513 kg ASTROSAT into the orbit. Along with ASTROSAT, six satellites from international customers - 76 kg LAPAN-A2 of Indonesia, 14 kg NLS-14 (Ev9) of Canada and four identical LEMUR satellites of USA together weighing about 28 kg – were launched in this PSLV flight.
